- Boys dorm room: Chase, Logan, and Michael are talking about drama class.  Logan thinks it is lame and thinks Chase should try out for sports.  But Chase stinks at sports, and tells Logan the drama class rocks, and is full of hot girls (big mistake).

- Hall outside of Zoey's room: Dustin is sick with a cold.  He knocks on Zoey's door, looking for his sister, but only Dana is home.  Quinn arrives in the hall, and tells him to come with her; she can cure him.

- Drama class: it is the day to audition for the female lead - Zorka.  Chase is reading the lifeguard role.   The first girl shouts (projects), the second sings (isn't this a musical), Mark shows up in full "Annie" costume, and then Zoey reads.  She is awesome.  Later after auditions are over, Chase is talking with Mr. Fletcher who agree everybody but Zoey were awful.  "Annie" was just disturbing.  Zoey gets the role; Nicole will be the hula girl.  But Mr. Fletcher knows the reason why Chase wants Zoey to play the lead.  Since Chase will likely be the lifeguard, his character gets to kiss Zorka - who will be played by Zoey!  We see Chase smiling after Mr. Fletcher leaves.

- Quinn's room: Quinn is using a tongue vacuum on Dustin.  In a very good line, Quinn wonders if it sucks enough!  Dustin thinks it sucks enough, though!

- Drama class: it is time for the boys to audition.  To Chase's surprise, Logan shows up and is awesome.   Mr. Fletcher tells Chase he has to give the lead to Logan.  And Logan knows he gets to kiss Zoey!

- Outside lunch tables: Chase tells Zoey that Logan has the lead role.  Zoey thinks it is awful, too, and decides to quit.

- Drama class: Zoey and Chase sit behind Mr. Fletcher waiting for the chance to tell him that Zoey is out.  But Logan is on stage, and is awesome.  Zoey changes her mind, and instead of asking to get out, wants to know when rehearsals start!  Chase is blind sided by this and left hanging.

- Between classes: Chase is upset, and Zoey wants to know why – but Chase is frustrated, because he can't tell the real reason.

- Lunch tables: the girls are talking about Logan grabbing the lead, and Zoey has to kiss him.  Zoey tells them that he was awesome, and Nicole thinks maybe Zoey is starting to like him.

- Drama class: Zoey and Logan are doing the scene, but the kiss will have to wait for opening night.  Mr. Fletcher wants to save the magic.  Zoey is falling under Logan's spell.

- Boys dorm room: Chase and Michael are discussing the play - Michael has figured out what is wrong, and gives Chase some advice: re-write the play to take the kiss out!  Later, Chase is in the middle of his re-write, and changes "kiss" to "kill."

- Drama class: Mr. Fletcher will not allow the re-write.  The play is perfect the way it is.

- Quinn's room: Quinn has Dustin in leg stocks - and is stimulating his feet with a "proton pulsar."  The trouble is, it is also a tickling sensation, and the more power she gives it, the more it tickles!

- The girls with Chase and Logan: and Zoey says he is awesome.  Chase leaves.  He meets Dustin on the stairs.  Chase is talking about being the understudy - if anything happens to Logan he plays the lifeguard.  But he sees that Dustin is sick and comes up with a plan!

- Boys’ dorm room: Chase is getting Dustin to breathe on Logan's pillow, and even pays him a dollar to sneeze on it.  But - in the middle of the night Logan turns over and drops the pillow from his top bunk into Chase's bed, which is the bottom bunk.  Chase, in turn, rolls over and uses the pillow.  When morning comes, Chase is sick - he sees the pillow and knows why!

- School nurse's office: Chase is hoping for a quick cure, but the nurse is his worst nightmare.  He startles her while she is holding a baseball bat, which he is sure she was about to use on him!  The nurse leaves the room while Chase falls asleep on a bed - and he dreams of the play and the kiss.  He wakes up and has to get out of there to stop it.  But the nurse locked him in.  He goes out the window just as she comes back - but she is tough and follows him right out the window.

- Cuts between the play and outside where the nurse is after Chase.  The play is going well while Chase struggles to get to it.  The kiss is rapidly approaching while the nurse tackles Chase, who manages to break free.  In the play, right before the kiss, the lifeguard gives a necklace to Zorka.  But Zoey drops it accidentally.  Outside, the nurse tackles Chase for a second time, but he breaks free again and enters.   Logan bends down as Zoey does, and tells her not to screw up his big moment.  Zoey is suddenly out of his spell, realizing he hasn't changed from being a jerk.  Chase watches and says "oh no" to himself, thinking the kiss is coming, but when Logan as the lifeguard asks Zoey as Zorka if he can kiss her - she hesitates and then gives a resounding "NO."  She improvises lines, creating a story line that the lifeguard has cheated on her with the hula girl.  Since Nicole is the hula girl, she backs Zoey up.  Chase
smiles as Zoey stomps off screen after saying "Zorka out."  But - the big tough nurse catches him and hauls him off!

Closing line: Dustin to Quinn: "It's not making me better!" as she uses the tickling machine on his feet.
