History class was boring - especially to Nicole because none of those past
Presidents were cute! Logan, Chase, and Michael join them - and the girls
talk about the TP. Logan, Chase, and Michael come right out and admit that
they did it. It is part of a PCA tradition: Prank Week. The returning
students prank the new students. And since this is the first year girls are
attending - they are prime targets. And - the new students are not supposed
to prank back, they are just supposed to take it. The boys try to make the
girls feel better by telling them about the pranks that were pulled on them:
Chase was tied up in a fountain, Michael was chased in the pool by a "shark" -
actually just a fin, and Logan woke up to find his bed out in the open
surrounded by students. Dana tells the boys that they will not be easy
targets, but when Nicole goes to throw something away - a boy pops out of the
garbage pail and she runs off screaming.

Dean Rivers is outside the boys' dorm, supervising the cleaning of a statue of
the school's founder - Mr. Bradford. Mr. Bradford's son is coming to visit,
and he wants the statue spotless - no bird droppings.

The girls are discussing what to do in their lounge. Quinn has a plan - she
will make a sonic neural neutralizer to render the boys unconscious. Zoey
doesn't think they should sink to the boys' level. The girls hear Chase
calling for help from outside - and when the girls come out they are pelted by
water balloons and water guns. They are soaked! Zoey still maintains her
composure and forgiving attitude - until Logan saves the largest water balloon
of all for her, dropping it right on her head from the top of the building!
Now - Zoey is mad. It is war!

The girls have a lot of things - Nicole has snatched a large bra from Coco -
the dorm advisor. They are all dressed in camouflage. Quinn comes in to
demonstrate her sonic neural neutralizer - but it just breaks her glasses.
Coco comes in - looking for her bra (which they quickly hide). The girls
manage to convince her that the camouflage is a new fashion trend.

The next day - the boys come out to discover that the statue of Mr. Bradford
in front of their dorm is in drag - complete with a wig and makeup!  The girls
join the boys - and Logan is frustrated and reminds them that they aren't
supposed to prank back. Dean Rivers comes up with Mr. Bradford's son - and he
is mad! He rips off the dress - and the statue is in girls' underwear! He
demands to know who did it - and the girls confess. Mr. Bradford is so mad -
he vows to kick the girls out the next semester. He tells Chase - get those
panties off my father!

Zoey, Nicole, and Dana are in Dean Rivers' office with Mr. Bradford. They
apologize again, but Mr. Bradford is adamant: PCA will return to being a boys
only school the following semester.

Nicole is outside crying. PCA is the best school ever. It has cute boys and
the boys at her school back in Kansas are all dumb and gross. Dana says it is
all the boys' fault for the dumb prank week. Quinn vows revenge!

Zoey is back in Dean Rivers' office with Mr. Bradford. She tells them it was
her idea, she was the leader and she is the one who should be kicked out. Mr.
Bradford agrees - provided she publically apologize to the whole student body.

Zoey is packing to leave PCA. Nicole keeps unpacking her - and is surpised
that she can't cry. She has run out of tears! Another girl comes to the room
and calls her out to the lounge - it is a surprise farewell party!  Only the
cake has "Zowie" instead of "Zoey" on it! The boys come to the party, and
they feel bad, too. They got her a farewell present - a bunny with a PCA
shirt. Chase picked it out. Michael tells Chase he better tell Zoey how he
feels now - or it will be too late. Chase tries, but Quinn comes in with the
latest version of her sonic neural neutralizer - and this time it trips all
the circuit breakers!

The next day, Zoey is by the statue with her bags packed. A podium has been
set up for her to deliver her apology. She makes it short and sincere. Mr.
Bradford steps up to the podium to speak about his father. But the boys have
a remote control. After a moment's hesitation - they push the button. The
statue of Mr. Bradford starts to pee! Everybody starts laughing while Mr.
Bradford is still speaking - and he turns to see the statue peeing!  He
angrily asks who did it - and Logan confesses. Mr. Bradford is about to expel
him, too, when Chase and Michael say they helped. In fact – the whole student
body speaks up to say they had a hand in it, including the girls.  Dean Rivers
and Mr. Bradford can't expel the whole student body. Mr. Bradford is a broken
man - he just pleads "stop my daddy from peeing and nobody gets expelled."
Zoey hugs Chase, but he tells her it wasn't his idea. It was Logan's! She is
surprised but doesn't hug Logan.

After their victory, Quinn comes in with her sonic neural neutralizer again.
But now - it isn't needed so she went to all that effort for nothing. She
throws it away, but it activates somehow. When the countdown reaches zero -
it knocks out all the students gathered around the statue.

CLOSING LINE:

Mr. Bradford (Jr.) to Chase: "Get those panties off my father!"

NOTES:

We learn that Nicole is from Kansas.

There was a lot of discussion of the stunt where Logan drops a water balloon
on Zoey from the top of a building. Would that have been safe in real life?
There is enough mathematical evidence to indicate this would be a very
dangerous stunt, so don't try it!

One plot element that doesn't quite work is how easily the girls convince Coco
that they are wearing camouflage as a fashion trend. Any dorm advisor would
know a first class prank was in progress!

The scene where the whole student body confesses to having a hand in making
the statue pee is vaguely reminiscent of a scene in Spartacus where the
surviving slave army all confess to being Spartacus. The scene in Zoey 101
lacks the power of the classic movie, of course, but shows the great loyalty
the student body has to its unofficial leader - Zoey. This fits in well with
the major story arc that the outstanding students are not "mean girls," but
leaders and mentors, well liked by everybody - and inspiring loyalty not
hatred.
