(Jan. 9) - On a day when all eyes seemed to be on her older sister's bizarre custody standoff, Jamie Lynn Spears
proved there was another star in the family.

An hour long finale special of Spears' Nickelodeon hit "Goodbye Zoey" averaged 7.3 million viewers on Friday,
making it the second most watched show of the evening behind the NBC game show "1 vs. 100" (8.4 million),
according to Nielsen Media Research via E! Online.

The ratings came on the heels of 16-year-old Spears' announcement that she is expecting a child. Speculation
immediately arose that the cable network would shelve the already-filmed fourth season of the show, which was
already a sizable hit before the pregnancy scandal. The third-season premiere of "Zoey" averaged a then-record
3 million viewers and, as of November, the network said the show was TV's top show among kids aged 9-14.

The "Zoey 101" special featured a pivotal plot for the series in which the independent teen struggles over the
decision with whether to move to London with her parents or to stay put with her pals at Pacific Coast Academy.

Britney Spears, 26, was hospitalized on Friday after an hours-long standoff at her home that was triggered by a
custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline over the couple's two young sons. A court commissioner took
custody of her children from Spears the next day.
